After the exciting and intense startup competition concluded, an exclusive VIP closed-door dinner was held at the Tresidder Oak Lounge at Stanford. All the finalist teams engaged in in-depth conversations with top venture capitalists, angel investors, and representatives from financial institutions in Silicon Valley, providing a unique opportunity to interact closely with leading figures in the tech industry.
Keynote Speaker: Steve Hoffman
At the start of the dinner, we had the honor of inviting Steve Hoffman, the "Godfather of Silicon Valley’s Startup Ecosystem," to lead our discussion. Steve Hoffman is the founder of Founders Space, ranked as the number one startup incubator by Forbes, and the author of the bestselling book Make Elephants Fly.
During the opening of the dinner, Mr. Hoffman guided us in exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and behavioral economics. He discussed how disruptive innovation technologies can accurately perceive human intentions and emotions, while also delving deeply into the potential risks these advancements pose to human civilization.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Robert Yang
For the second keynote speech of the dinner, we had the honor of inviting Dr. Robert Yang, former assistant professor at MIT and a distinguished figure among the 90s generation. Dr. Robert Yang is a neuroscientist and the founder of the AI game agent company Altera, which has secured a $9 million investment from investors such as First Spark Ventures, led by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, and Patron.
Dr. Yang provided an in-depth discussion on the application and research of artificial intelligence in game interaction and neuroscience, offering entrepreneurs innovative ideas with a focus on deep tech.
