Our missions

The CEO, founded in 2008 by students and alumni of Stanford University in the heart of Silicon Valley, celebrates a 16-year legacy of innovation and networking. Centered around the vibrant Silicon Valley tech ecosystem, CEO fosters vital connections between entrepreneurs and venture capital sources both domestically and internationally. Since its inception, CEO has hosted numerous venture capital lectures, entrepreneurial meetups, and other events annually, providing a platform for discourse on technological advancements and entrepreneurial strategies.

Throughout the years, CEO has welcomed hundreds of distinguished entrepreneurs to share their journeys, enriching our community with firsthand insights. In recent collaborations with prestigious investment firms based in Silicon Valley, CEO has orchestrated exclusive roundtable discussions focusing on the technical aspects and commercial potentials of avant-garde technologies. Today, CEO proudly boasts over 18,000 members, including not just Stanford students and alumni, but also a diverse group of entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley and beyond, reflecting its widespread appeal and influence.

CEO maintains deep-rooted partnerships with numerous elite venture capital funds, consistently organizing over 50 venture capital-focused events annually. These events feature more than 200 leading experts from various fields, solidifying CEO's role as a pivotal force in shaping the future of innovation and investment.

Co-president Haoran (Elvis) Wu

Dual master's degree from Stanford University + Oxford University, and a bachelor's degree in financial economics from the University of Melbourne. Elvis currently serves as Chief of Staff at Intellipro Group, and is responsible for group investment and key customer relations. He is also the vice chairman of the U8 World Elite Alliance, and the leader of the Silicon Valley Leadership Community SVLC U30 project.

Elvis has served as a volunteer in more than a dozen countries, he is the founder of three startups, and a summer intern at Family Office. He currently focuses on the application of AI in education, games and HR fields. He enjoys outdoor activities and has climbed active volcanoes, dived into the deep sea, paraglided to Pokhara, hiked in tropical rainforests, and organized outdoor hiking every week.

Co-president Mengya Sun

A product manager and Ex-Googler in the Bay Area, Mengya specializes in Internet product design and market strategy customization, user growth and customer experience improvement. She has held key positions at Google and made important contributions to the company's product and market strategies through her professional skills and innovative thinking.

Mengya currently focuses on the field of venture capital, and is particularly interested in cross-border consumer projects. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling.

Board Member (VP) Alicia Chen

MSx Sloan Fellow Class of 2023 from Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), Master of Economics from Peking University, GELP from Tsinghua PBC School of Finance, Intermediate Economist. Alicia is now Director of CPE CITIC Industrial Fund (Yuanfeng Fund). She once served as VP of JP MORGAN's New York headquarters, and later found a cutting-edge financial technology company and served as Founder & CEO. She is also Director of the G20 Young Entrepreneur Alliance, and Director of Peking University and Tsinghua Young CEOs. In addition, Alicia has 15 years of working experience in Global banks and stellar financial investment management skills.

Board Member (VP) Yikting Hung

Yikting received his bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco, with a major in Accounting and minor Computer Science. He currently serves as KPMG Advisory & Audit Senior, and has been responsible for Auditing, IPO readiness, M&A and Go-to-Market Strategy.

As an ENFJ Taurus, Yikting is currently keen on learning about autonomous driving, gaming, and new energy fields. He has participated in organizing many community activities while in school. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, movies and games.

Board Member (VP) Jiacheng (JC) Hu

JC is a undergraduate student at Stanford majoring in CS with a concentration in AI. His internship experience includes leading California high school students in a micro-loan project for people in rural areas, working at an industrial big data company to write data preprocessing algorithms for aircraft and high-speed rail failure prediction systems. His future research interests focus on the application of AI in the field of robotics.

During his sophomore year, JC had a startup experience with his friends and was responsible for team operations, business plan formulation and connecting with investors from multiple backgrounds. He is multilingual: proficient in Chinese, English and Spanish languages, he also knows a little bit of Latin.

Board Member (VP) Jingze (Leon) Li

Currently a data analyst for Tesla's Supply Chain, Leon graduated from USC MSBA+MPA. He has a great interest in entrepreneurial innovation and non-profit. Leon participated in organizing many large-scale entrepreneurial community activities during his time in LA. While exploring entrepreneurial directions, he also hopes to contribute to the entrepreneurial community in Silicon Valley.

Leon loves reading but recently has devoted herself to the study of psychology, philosophy, art, and music. He organizes reading and movie-watching parties in the Bay Area. He likes running and skiing, is a half-marathon runner, and also loves wine culture. Leon is a certified bartender and WSET Level 2 Sommelier.

Board Member (VP) Yousef Liang

Currently pursuing a second CS graduate diploma at Stanford University specializing in artificial intelligence, Yousef focused on magnetorheological partial differential modeling and analysis during his master's and doctoral studies at MIT. Besides academics, he is now a researcher at Google, engaged in data center computing and performance optimization. He has two entrepreneurial experiences and is currently focusing on the scientific research and application of artificial intelligence in various fields such as robotics, finance, and neuroscience.

Outside of work and academics, Yousef loves all kinds of indoor and outdoor activities, including oil painting, pottery, saxophone, rock climbing, shooting, and taekwondo.

Board Member (VP) Lingyu (Lucia) Zheng

Lucia received her graduate degree from UC Berkeley and undergraduate degree from the experimental class of Bachelor of Economics with Honors at the University of International Business and Economics. Once a path planning product manager for Didi's international map, she currently works as a product manager for a startup company in the Bay Area. She has also interned in AWS. Lucia now focuses on the fields of AI and psychology, and is an origami & cooking enjoyer.

Board Member (VP) Shuo Xin

Shuo is currently studying for a PhD in the Department of Physics at Stanford. His research interests are astrophysics and high-energy theory. His work focuses on parallel computing of gravitational waves and cosmology numerical simulations. He worked at Shanghai Qizhi Research Institute before entering his Ph.D.

Board Member (VP) Yue Tang

After graduating from Tianjin University in Mechanical Engineering and Nankai University in Finance, Yue is now a Technical Product Manager in CV and robotics at Walmart, where she explores the application of AI in real-life scenarios. She previously worked on developing autonomous driving algorithms, was keen on understanding and researching Mobility Tech, and participated in preparing relevant industry analyses and investment reports.

Yue likes to do yoga and play badminton to relax her body and mind.

Board Member Jiayang Cheng

Jiayang Cheng has hosted major events for the CEO, such as the 2023 Global Entrepreneur Demo Day. He currently works as a Data Scientist at Google YouTube and is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.

Board Member Xunfeng Lu

Xunfeng Lu is responsible for activities in the renewable energy sector. He holds a PhD in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at Stanford and focuses on the application of applied mathematics in thermal management, reservoir management (including oil, natural gas, geothermal, and carbon sequestration), and battery management.
